Dr. Krysta Sellers
Dr. Krysta Sellers was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota. She attended University of North Dakota receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology Summa Cum Laude. She then completed a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree and certificate in public health in 2011 in Mesa, Arizona at A.T. Still University. She was inducted into the OKU academic honor society upon graduation. She received the outstanding academic achievement in implant dentistry award from the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Sellers furthered her education and pursued three years of specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Texas in Houston. During her training in Houston, Dr. Sellers had the opportunity to advance her knowledge in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and Oral Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Sellers received a Master’s of Science degree and certificate in Prosthodontics. A Prosthodontist is a dentist who specializes in the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth. Prosthodontists receive three years of additional training after dental school, and restore optimum appearance and function to your smile. During her residency she completed a Master’s thesis research project on cosmetic implant dentistry and dental cement.
Dr. Sellers is an active member of the American Prosthodontics Society, the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association, the North Dakota Dental Association, the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Sellers and her husband have one daughter, Ella. Dr. Sellers enjoys cooking, exercising, and yoga. Her and her husband like spending time outdoors with family and friends.
