Below is what to expect at your appointment.
1-on-1 Time With Your Dental Hygienist
Your dental hygienist will typically perform routine dental X-Rays upon your first visit. The hygienist will also take intraoral photos of your teeth to better visualize cracks or cavities. He or she will take the time to listen to concerns and address any issues like dental anxiety or fear.
Full Dental Cleaning Performed
The hygienist will perform the full dental cleaning to remove any plaque or tartar on the teeth. We also offer bacterial reduction with laser treatments after cleanings. You'll also have the option for a full fluoride treatment for future cavity prevention.
1-on-1 Time With The Doctor
After the cleaning is finished, you'll get time with the doctor to ensure everything looks great. You'll be able to talk about any cosmetic or other concerns you might have and discuss future treatment plans to achieve your goals.

Do you take my dental insurance?
We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. However, we can bill most insurance companies on our patient’s behalf. The best way to ensure insurance benefits is to call our office at (701) 214-5552
Do you guys do deeper cleanings like scaling & planing?
Yes, we do offer deeper cleaning options if a patient’s specific needs are outside of routine dental cleanings.
What does a typical cleaning include?
A typical cleaning appointment includes a comprehensive oral exam, removal of plaque and tartar, routine dental X-Rays, high powered polishing and flossing. Bacterial reduction laser treatments & fluoride treatments are offered as optional after the cleaning is completed.
Do I really need 2 cleanigns per year?
2 cleanings per year is the standard baseline for average-risk patients (those with normal risk of periodontal disease). Some patients with signs of gum disease or advanced, quicker signs of tartar buildup may have recommended cleanings every 3-4 months. The best way to know for sure is to come in for a consultation and examination.
