Don't Let Broken Teeth Slow You Down

Restore Your Tooth With A Dental Crown Or Bridge

Crowns and bridges are custom-made tooth replacement options that are cemented onto teeth and stay firmly in place.

Are you suffering from a broken, badly damaged or even missing teeth? Dental crowns can a fast solution to repairing a badly damaged tooth. Crowns are custom made “caps” typically made out of porcelain or ceramic. They are shaped to fit over a tooth that has been badly damaged or severely decayed.

As an alternative to dental implants, dental bridges are slightly different in that a bridge is sculpted to span the place of multiple missing teeth. Bridges are still made from the same material as crowns, and are custom made, fitted and shaded to each patient’s mouth.

We Make It Easy

How Crowns & Bridges Work

After an initial consultation at Aesthetic Dental Center in Bismarck… opens in a new window to Google Maps…, we’ll decide which restorative dentistry solution is best for you.

A crown is recommended for a fractured, cracked tooth or a large filling replacement. A bridge is recommended if you entirely lose one or multiple teeth, creating a gap in your smile. Getting a crown or bridge is a simple process.

Step 1: Tooth Preparation

The tooth or teeth are prepped for the crown or bridge to be cemented into place.

Step 2: Impressions & Fabrication

After preparing the area, the dentist takes an impression of the mouth using a Trios scanner so that an exact crown or bridge is created to look and feel like your natural tooth.

Step 3: Final Placement

Once complete, the crown or bridge is cemented on, and we make sure it’s completely comfortable for you to wear. We also check the bite and functionality.
